What do we do?

The software subteam is focused on designing and testing all software components of the prosthetic. This includes building the prosthetic’s core algorithm and iOS Bluetooth app. Additionally, we have several research and development projects focused on machine learning and other novel concepts we want to build.

Project

EMG Classifer

Designing a program in Python to predict muscle movements in the arm based on electromyography (EMG) sensors.

Bluetooth App

Developing an iOS application that can provide the user with additional functionality for their prosthetic. Project is divided into four sub-projects: UI/UX, data analytics, bluetooth communication, and voice recognition.

Touchscreen

Developing a program to control all of the current analog inputs on the arm from the touchscreen display.
